40' x 40'
Children
often view science as a school subject that they have to learn in a classroom
or a lab to understand. When, in fact, science is all around us, be it nature's
natural science or man-made science. The idea behind 40' x 40' is that one can take any plot of that measurement
and science can learned and explored there.
Presented
by Dr. Azman Hj. Othman, who is currently pursuing his Masters in Biology
Conservation at Universiti Putra Malaysia, 40' x
40' will take the student into a journey of discovery at an area
that they are familiar with. The location can be at the backyard, the beach,
the school ground, the jungle - anywhere. Science is all around us. Science is
alive!
