its affairs
The Foundation relies on various forms of
financial resources to manage its affairs. We rely on the financial support of
entities sharing a similar vision and through the formation of smart
partnership of stakeholders in the responsibility of creating a values-based
environment for our children to develop to their fullest potential.
The
following are sources (not exclusive), which MCTF will seek for financial
support:
* Government
grants
* Corporate
sponsorships
* Individual
donations
* Foundation
membership subscriptions for corporate organisations and individuals
* Income
from the Foundation’s own programme production activities
* Marketing
of TV programmes and related audio-video media
MCTF is
currently applying for tax exemption status for donations, endowments or grants
to help support its work.
Regulations
require the foundation to establish a fund amounting to RM1, 000,000.00
(Ringgit Malaysia One Million) in order for it to function accordingly.
Types of Support
The MCTF provides financial support to
stimulate greater development and production of high quality television
programs for children. Amongst the activities that we support are:

Development and Production
support of innovative quality children’s programmes and concepts
Development
Finance to
writers, directors and producers for script, programmes and series development
Support on national and international
programme marketing
Scholarships
and Educational Grants for the future development of deserving children and educational
institutions from time to time and according to established guidelines.
