| Hello and Greetings from Childline Malaysia !
Childline Malaysia , a non – profit project of the Malaysian Children TV Programme Foundation (MCTF) is a free phone Helpline to be known as 999 Childline for children under 18 years to call if they need someone to talk to or if they need any kind of assistance. This project was initiated by concerned NGOs and private sector Organisations together with Government as well as Child Helpline International and UNICEF. We are now in the process of engaging with a wide spectrum of support systems with organizations like yours to work together to ensure that any child who calls receives support from caring professional organisations and individuals.
As Childline Malaysia is scheduled to be launched tentatively in December we would like to extend an official invitation to Organisations (that support outreach programs for children as well as protection, rehabilitation and care support services for children in need) to be members of Childline Malaysia's Partner Link Network. In the event that calls are received from children or concerned adults relating to issues or services, we would to link the children to these Organisation's support services and expertise. We look forward to receiving approval from the Executive Board of these Organisations for this partnership via the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) which outlines our key roles, responsibilities and commitment to support the best interests of the children in Malaysia

We hope to receive the signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and the Resource Directory Form filled with details of the types of services Organisations has to offer . We would be honored to have Organisations on board as a valuable member of Childline Malaysia 's Partner Link Network to work together in supporting the Convention of the Rights of the Child (1989).
We would appreciate it if you could kindly mail the Resource Directory form and the original copy of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) duly signed and endorsed with the Organisation's stamp together with a copy of the Registration Certificate from the Registrar of Societies / Registrar of Companies / Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia .
